Our SIL Vacancies
We have a self-contained 2-bedroom villa within an SDA property. The fully accessible villa offers an open-plan kitchen and living area, shared bathroom and laundry, access to beautiful gardens, and a spacious covered outdoor BBQ area for entertaining visitors.
This vacancy is suitable for participants with approved NDIS funding for 1:1 or 1:2 support. We welcome enquiries.

Participant Matching Process
At Coastal Abilities, we understand that the right living environment makes all the difference. That’s why we take our participant matching process seriously. We don’t simply fill a vacancy — we carefully consider compatibility to help create a stable, respectful, and supportive home. When assessing suitability, we look at factors such as age, gender preferences, support needs, personality, daily routines, communication style, interests, and overall lifestyle compatibility. We also consider behavioural support requirements and household structure to ensure the environment is safe and consistent for everyone. Our goal is to create harmonious living arrangements where participants feel secure, valued, and comfortable in their home. By taking the time to match thoughtfully, we help set the foundation for positive relationships, routine stability, and long-term success in Supported Independent Living.
Our Matching Process Includes:
- Individual consultation with the participant and/or their support network
- Review of NDIS goals and funded support requirements
- Assessment of support needs, routines, and behavioural considerations
- Consideration of personality traits and lifestyle preferences
- Compatibility review with current or potential housemates
- Clear communication with families and support coordinators
- Planned transition process to support a smooth move-in
